Cat Van Loi Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (CVL) has once again marked its presence on the national energy map by becoming the strategic supplier of mechanical and electrical (M&E) materials for the construction of an 80,000-ton refrigerated LPG storage terminal in Bắc Tiền Phong Industrial Park, Quảng Ninh Province.
This landmark project is a joint venture between E1 Corporation (a subsidiary of Korea’s LS Group) — the country’s leading LPG importer and distributor — and Venus Gas, northern Vietnam’s largest LPG importer. With a total capacity of 80,000 tons (50,000 tons of propane and 30,000 tons of butane), the terminal is scheduled for commercial operation in 2025. Upon completion, it will supply over 1 million tons of LPG annually to the Vietnamese market, significantly enhancing national energy security and boosting northern Vietnam’s liquefied gas logistics infrastructure.
