As Vietnam’s industrial sector continues to develop, a skilled technical workforce with strong professional capabilities and the ability to adapt to real-world production environments plays an increasingly important role.
With a commitment to connecting business activities with the development of human resources, Cat Van Loi Industrial Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (CVL) continues to accompany Ly Tu Trong College in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to supporting students in Mechanical Engineering and other technical fields as they pursue their studies, develop their skills and prepare for their future careers.
From educational support to real-world industry connections
At the 2026 New Student Orientation and Meet-and-Greet Program with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, students had the opportunity to become familiar with their new learning environment while gaining a better understanding of their academic programs, career pathways and the practical requirements of the mechanical engineering industry.
The program also highlighted an important connection between vocational education and the actual needs of businesses.
For Cat Van Loi, supporting vocational education is not limited to scholarship activities. More importantly, it is about building meaningful connections between students and the industrial sector, helping young people gain a clearer understanding of the production environment, technical requirements, professional working practices and the skills needed when entering the workforce.
For Mechanical Engineering students in particular, professional knowledge needs to be complemented by hands-on experience, technical thinking and the ability to adapt to modern technologies and production processes.
Supporting students on their professional journey
As part of the program, 22 scholarships with a total value of VND 44 million were awarded to students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering through the support of participating businesses.
These scholarships provide more than financial assistance. They represent encouragement and recognition for young people who have chosen vocational and technical education as a foundation for building their careers through knowledge, skills and professional capabilities.
For Cat Van Loi, every form of support provided to students today is also a contribution to developing Vietnam's technical workforce for tomorrow.
Business – Education – Students: Connecting for sustainable development
Cat Van Loi believes that developing a workforce capable of meeting the demands of modern industry requires a strong and long-term connection between educational institutions and businesses.
Educational institutions provide students with fundamental knowledge and professional skills.
Businesses provide practical perspectives from real production environments.
Students are the ones who transform knowledge and training into their own professional capabilities.
This connection not only helps students better understand the careers they have chosen, but also gives businesses an opportunity to contribute to the development of future engineers, technicians and skilled workers for Vietnam's industrial sector.
Continuing to invest in young people – investing in Vietnam's future
As a Vietnamese manufacturer of industrial electrical equipment, Cat Van Loi understands that sustainable business development cannot be separated from the development of human resources and the country's industrial sector.
Therefore, Cat Van Loi will continue to support vocational education, student development and business–education collaboration, particularly in technical fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and MEP systems.
Through these long-term initiatives, Cat Van Loi hopes to provide more young people with opportunities to pursue their education, strengthen their professional skills and confidently enter real-world industrial environments.
Supporting students today – contributing to the development of Vietnam's technical workforce for tomorrow.
