From September 10th to September 17th, 2023, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the sole implementing agency for Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the Japanese government, selected 12 leadership representatives from industrial manufacturing enterprises providing support in Vietnam to participate in the "Advanced CEO Training Program for Production and Business Capacity Enhancement - Business Networking for Participation in Supply Chains for Japanese Corporations" in Nagoya, Japan. The program aims to enhance the leadership capabilities of small and medium-sized Vietnamese enterprises and contribute to the development of Vietnam's nascent support industry. This endeavor serves as a significant and essential foundation for Vietnam as it strives to become an industrially developed country by the year 2045.
Representing industrial manufacturing support enterprises in Southern Vietnam, there were four pioneering companies: CÁT VẠN LỢI Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, Tiến Thịnh Manufacturing and Trading Services Limited Liability Company, Minh Mẫn Manufacturing and Trading Limited Liability Company, and Future Rubber and Plastic Manufacturing and Trading Limited Liability Company. These four companies are at the forefront of supporting industrial production in Ho Chi Minh City and Đồng Nai, and they are part of the Southern Keieijuku Entrepreneurs' Association organized by the Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Cooperation Center (VJCC). They aspire to become company leaders or wish to manage their companies in the Japanese style.
The training program took place at the JICA International Training Center - Chubu and covered various topics such as business strategy, innovation in business, digital transformation in production, and digital marketing. Each company presented its business strategy, receiving advice from Japanese expert Mr. Kitamura for implementation in Vietnam in the near future. Additionally, the CEO delegation had the opportunity to visit successful models at Japanese companies such as AVEX, GIFU TADASEIKI, INOAC CORP, and Toyota. Through these practical visits, the CEOs learned valuable insights, deployment techniques, and precious experiences from Japanese companies to apply in their Vietnamese companies.
