In the context of enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam's private sector, the Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project (USAID IPSC) has achieved significant accomplishments. Among the implemented programs, the Vietnam Pioneering Enterprises (PE) program has emerged as an important driver for Vietnamese businesses to expand globally.

With the goal of creating "Made by Vietnam" branded products and successfully exporting them to regional and international markets, the PE program has attracted considerable attention from pioneering domestic businesses. These are businesses that meet strict criteria such as registration under the Vietnamese Enterprise Law, no legal disputes, and ownership structure with over 51% held by Vietnamese individuals.

The PE program not only focuses on financial support but also provides specialized technical assistance and custom-designed solutions according to the needs of each business. This helps pioneering businesses enhance their management capacity, strengthen production capabilities, and improve business efficiency through the application of technology and sustainable business models.
An important component of the PE program is the establishment of a favorable business environment, aiming for an inclusive economy. By improving the business environment and promoting ESG practices (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainable business, the program creates favorable conditions for pioneering businesses to develop and succeed.
In addition to supporting individual businesses, the PE program strengthens business linkages and builds a business ecosystem. This is demonstrated through enhancing business-to-business (B2B) and industry linkages, as well as building the capacity of business support organizations and business development service providers.
The Vietnam Pioneering Enterprises program has delivered significant results. It is expected that from 2020 to 2025, the PE program will assist 5,000 growing businesses with technical support, 240 businesses to participate in regional and international markets, along with 35 pioneering businesses receiving special support.

And Cat Van Lọi Industrial Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company is among the 35 businesses receiving the aforementioned support. In Vietnam, Cat Van Loi is known as a professional manufacturer of M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) supplies, specializing in providing products such as G.I conduit pipes, flexible steel conduit, Unistrut channel systems, lightning protection and grounding systems, etc., for key projects within the country.
The PE program plays a crucial role in promoting economic growth and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses, while also contributing significantly to the development of a sustainable and prosperous economy. The pioneering endeavors of Vietnamese businesses in expanding globally not only bring economic benefits but also contribute to enhancing the country's image and reputation on the international stage.
With the support and encouragement from the Vietnam Pioneering Enterprises program, Cát Vạn Lợi and other Vietnamese businesses have more opportunities to explore, penetrate, and compete in the international market. This not only opens doors for expanding production scale and boosting exports but also affirms the innovation and quality of products and services "Made by Vietnam."
In the future, the PE program is expected to further enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses, expand export markets, and actively contribute to Vietnam's economic development. Vietnamese pioneering businesses venturing into the world will not only create new business opportunities but also contribute to building a sustainable and comprehensive economy.
In summary, the Vietnam Pioneering Enterprises (PE) program implemented by USAID IPSC has played a crucial role in promoting the development and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in the international market. Through technical support, the creation of a favorable business environment, and the development of a business ecosystem, the PE program has delivered positive outcomes and opened up new opportunities for the sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses.
