- The program "Problem-solving through AI & IoT for Vietnam" (VNAI) is taking place from February 28 to March 12, 2024, at the AOTS Tokyo Kenshu Training Center in Japan.
VNAI is one of the management training programs coordinated by AOTS in collaboration with the AI & IoT Promotion Association (AIPA) of Japan. The program is designed to help participants understand the process of realizing digital transformation (DX) using AI & IoT, while also developing solutions for their company's challenges, such as digitizing business models, products, services, and operations.
The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Association of Japan (AOTS) will be part of the program, serving as a training and development organization aimed at promoting human resource training, primarily abroad, and technical cooperation. Through the AOTS program, the goal is to contribute to the overall economic growth of developing countries and Japan, as well as strengthen friendly relations between nations.
In this program, a high-level management representative from Cat Van Loi Industrial Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company will participate. Their role involves planning, operating, and solving problems for the challenges faced by the company.
The objectives that Cát Vạn Lợi aims to achieve through participating in the VNAI program include:
- Understanding the digital transformation (DX) process to solve problems using AI & IoT, including goal setting, understanding the current situation, identifying issues, building problem-solving strategies, and implementation.
- Grasping the basic principles of AI & IoT (machine learning, deep learning, intellectual property ownership), data analysis, and information security (risks and coping measures).
- Recognizing the importance of deploying AI & IoT and the secrets to success by studying typical research of Japanese companies successfully using AI & IoT through leadership and management skills in this field.
- Practicing using practical tools such as IoT sensors (e.g., IoT Hub and Arduino) and AI modules (e.g., Azure ML and Power BI). Companies will learn how to accumulate and analyze data as well as understand practical techniques for using AI & IoT.
- Developing problem-solving plans for their company's challenges using AI and IoT, such as digitizing business models, products, services, and operations.
After the course, businesses will have real-world experiences with some AI applications (Azure ML and Power BI) and IoT (IoT Hub and Arduino), providing a clearer understanding of the application of AI in production, business, services, etc., to support more effective decision-making and strategies.
