On July 24, 2024, the office of Cat Van Loi Industrial Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Joint Stock Company was honored to welcome the delegations of PhDs and Masters from the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. This visit and interview recorded architectural opinions from SME enterprises on the topic "Shaping business development in the current new context, clean, mission, vision, core values and business development strategy; Implementation of business production and business activities in the process of building, developing an independent, autonomous economy and integrating into the international economy, benefits, difficulties, preliminary processing" to report to the government in the future strategy.
Representative of Cat Van Loi, Mr. Le Mai Huu Lam, General Director of the company, enthusiastically accepted the survey. The delegation included:
1. Dr. Dang Xuan Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Project Manager, Head of the delegation.
2. Dr. Pham Sy An - Deputy Head of Planning and Finance Department, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Deputy Head of the Project.
3. Dr. Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of Vietnam Economic Institute, Scientific Secretary of the Project.
4. Dr. Phan Tuan Anh - Southern Institute of Social Sciences.
5.MSc. Nguyen Thi Nga - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
6. MSc. Tran Thi Tuyet Lan - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
During the meeting, Mr. Le Mai Huu Lam shared about the philosophy, mission and vision of Cat Van Loi, along with the core values and development strategies that the company is pursuing. He also pointed out the benefits and formulas that businesses must have in the production and business process, especially in the context of the current international economy. Mr. Lam gave 5 outstanding architectural opinions:
1/ High cost of production design in industrial parks**: This is a heavy financial burden for businesses, affecting the ability to expand and develop.
2/ Loans for manufacturing enterprises are still high and difficult to access**: This makes it difficult for enterprises to invest in infrastructure and new technology.
3/ The labor force is not skilled and willing to work**: This shortage reduces production efficiency and product quality.
4/ Leaders and business owners still have old thinking, do not care about learning and upgrading themselves, internal strength and foreign languages**: This limits the ability to compete and adapt to changes in the global market.
5/ Policies to support enterprises to promote abroad but are few and difficult to access**: This reduces opportunities to expand international markets and cooperate with foreign partners.
The survey team listened to and recorded architectural opinions, contributing to building an accurate and comprehensive report for the Government in the future economic development strategy.
The visit not only provided an opportunity for scientists and businesses to exchange and learn from each other, but also provided advice on how to create sustainable development orientations for Vietnamese businesses in the new context. Cat Van Loi Company hopes that, with its efforts and contributions, they will continue to grow strongly, contributing to the overall development of the country's economy.
The meeting ended in an open, sincere atmosphere and hoped for positive results from Cat Van Loi's contributions.
