In the memories of those who have accompanied Cat Van Loi since the early days of 2007, recollections do not begin with accolades or medals, but with the harsh metallic sounds echoing in a small workshop and the sleepless nights of our leaders.
At that time, Vietnam’s supporting industry was virtually a blank space. Mega-projects were rising, yet every single steel conduit and smallest mechanical & electrical (M&E) fitting had to carry an imported label. The market defaulted to a skeptical mindset: "How can Vietnamese goods meet the standards? How can they withstand the heat and pressure of multi-million-dollar projects?"
That skepticism weighed heavily on the shoulders of our founders. There were moments of wanting to give up before the rigid walls of market prejudice, facing rejected orders simply because of the phrase "Made in Vietnam".
Yet amid those hardships, the determination of the Board of Directors and the unity of Cat Van Loi’s team ignited. If people did not believe in Vietnamese goods, we had to craft products that surpassed their highest expectations.
