A conduit locknut is an electrical accessory used to secure an electrical conduit fitting to an electrical box or other device. The fitting has internal threads that match the threads on the conduit fitting. The locknut is threaded onto the fitting and then tightened against the electrical box or device to secure the fitting in place.
