On May 17, 2023, Mr. Yoshiyuki ISHIHARA - Project Consultant of the NJPT Consortium, Mr. Shigeki Ihara - Project Manager of the Sumitomo-Cienco 6 Consortium (SCC), and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hien - Head of the Management Board of Urban Railway Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien, approved the use of two types of products manufactured by Cat Van Loi, including steel conduit pipes and steel core flexible conduits for the electrical and mechanical system of the CP2 contract in the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Urban Metro Railway Project. After a period of using Panasonic conduit pipes (Japan) for the CP1 contract, the Investor and Consultant at the central station of Urban Railway Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien have switched to installing CVL (Vietnam) steel conduit pipes and accessories.
The decision to use CVL steel conduit pipes, steel core flexible conduits, and accessories manufactured by Cat Van Loi by the NJPT Consulting and the Management Board of Urban Railway Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien has helped save costs compared to imported products from Panasonic, Japan, and reduced construction time. This is also an affirmation of the elevated position of Vietnamese products and support for the development of the emerging industrial manufacturing sector in Vietnam.
Currently, Cat Van Loi products are present in various significant projects such as the Lego factory, Lotte Mall - Vo Chi Cong Complex, Vung Ang Thermal Power Plant, Van Phong Thermal Power Plant, Quang Trach Thermal Power Plant, and Nhon Trach 3-4 Thermal Power Plant, contributing to Cat Van Loi's realization of the aspirations of "REPLACING IMPORTED PRODUCTS and PARTICIPATING IN GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS."
CVL products have been exported to the Japanese market, participating in the global supply chain for the Toshiba Corporation in Japan, as well as serving customers in ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and the United States. This is a testament to the quality of Vietnamese industrial products, fully meeting the stringent quality requirements of international contractors and competing fairly with products in the region. Moreover, all products from Cat Van Loi are highly regarded by many corporations for their quality and price.
Products such as steel conduit pipes, lightning protection - grounding, grid-type cable trays, and MEP electrical and mechanical hanging systems from Cat Van Loi were selected as the "Outstanding Industrial Support Products of Ho Chi Minh City in 2022," "Ho Chi Minh City Gold Brand," and "High-Quality Vietnamese Products" awarded by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade.
Furthermore, Cat Van Loi Industrial Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Company will receive the National Quality Award of Vietnam in July 2023, presented by the Prime Minister in Hanoi. The National Quality Award is a prestigious form of recognition at the national level given by the Prime Minister to organizations and businesses with outstanding achievements in improving product quality, services, competitiveness, efficiency, integration with the regional and global economy. It is a reputable quality award and part of the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award (GPEA) system of the Asia-Pacific Quality Organization (APQO).
