On July 28, 2023, all middle management and the Board of Directors of CÁT VẠN LỢI Industrial Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company participated in the workshop "The Role of Managers in the Production Field," sponsored by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Enterprise Development Bureau - Southern Investment Planning Department, as part of the project "Promoting Small and Medium Enterprises in the Industrial Sector."
Currently, CÁT VẠN LỢI Industrial Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company is one of six companies in the southern region participating in the JICA PRIDE PROJECT. The project aims to enhance productivity and quality on the factory floor within 10 months (October 2022 - October 2023), and has already yielded positive results in cost reduction, the application of Kaban in production, warehouse and workshop layout improvements, and the maintenance of 5S - KAIZEN practices at the CÁT VẠN LỢI factory. This technical cooperation project focuses on strengthening connections between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the country and the global industrial value chain, utilizing support mechanisms outlined in SME support laws and policies for supporting the industry. As part of the project, domestic SMEs have the potential to join the global value chain. Those directly benefiting from the project will receive technical support to enhance capabilities and meet international industrial standards. Domestic SMEs will also receive indirect support through training activities conducted for consulting units providing support services for both public and private sectors.
In parallel with these efforts, CÁT VẠN LỢI Industrial Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company has been wholeheartedly working to build a Vietnamese business community characterized by "Self-reliance, Self-sufficiency, and Self-strength," while embracing the Japanese management style. This is achieved through activities that connect and share practical experiences on the ground, creating a superior management strength and fostering the development of the Vietnam-Japan trade relationship.
The opportunity to access and deeply understand the lean production method of Monozukuri and the secrets behind the success in participating in the global supply chain of Japanese companies such as TOSHIBA, JGC, JESCO ASIA, NIPPON DENKA, combined with flexible implementation, has enabled CÁT VẠN LỢI Industrial Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company to enhance its production capabilities and establish efficient production and business methods in Vietnam.
