A conduit body, also known as a conduit fitting, is a device used in electrical installations to connect and change the direction of conduit runs. It is used primarily to facilitate a change in direction of the conduit run by 90 degrees. It may be equipped with removable covers or access doors to provide access to the wires and facilitate maintenance or repair.
