Product information

Thermite welding is a type of molecular bond created by using thermite powder to raise the temperature inside the mold to nearly 3000°C, causing the metal inside to melt and form a bond without the need for any additional accessories. Thermite welding can be performed with various metals such as copper, steel, etc.

Features:
- Applied when creating a 2-way square joint between a cable and a ground rod.
- Different cable sizes require different amounts of thermite powder (see table).
- Different cable sizes require different welding molds (see table).
- One welding mold clamp can be used for all types of molds.

Application:
- Used in lightning protection and grounding systems.
